HOW IT WORKS

Stage 01 / 04

Upload your PDF.

Start with any PDF, whether your team created it, a client sent it, or it came from a plan manager or another provider.

Next: Recipients →
Stage 02 / 04

Add your recipients.

Add the people who need to be involved and define what each one does: sign, approve, review, or simply receive a copy. Set the order they act in, and Maica handles who is next.

Next: Fields →
Stage 03 / 04

Place the fields.

Drag fields onto the page, colour coded by recipient. Every field you need is supported, from signatures, initials and dates to contact details, text, dropdowns, checkboxes, approvals and stamps.

Next: Send →
Stage 04 / 04

Send, and get it back complete.

Maica emails the first signer a branded link showing only their fields. As each person finishes, the next is notified, and when the last signature lands everyone receives the completed document.

If It's a PDF, It Can Be Signed.

From Service Agreements to consent forms, whoever created them. Upload the PDF and send it for signature with Maica Envelopes.

For the signer

Simple For Every Signer.

Clients, families and nominees sign in the browser on the device they already have. Each recipient gets a private link with nothing to install or sign up for, and sees only the fields assigned to them. Signatures, initials and drawings are captured by fingertip or mouse, with your logo, colours and typeface on every email and signing page.

In action

Signing, Handled.

Set it up once. Maica sends, waits, notifies and keeps a record of every step.

Sequential signing

Each recipient can sign, approve, review, or simply receive a copy of the finished document.

Live status

↻

Every Envelope shows as Draft, Sent, In Progress, Completed, Declined or Voided, with search and filters.

Everyone gets a copy

↻

When the last signature lands, the completed PDF is emailed to the sender and every recipient.

Each recipient gets their own private link to a signing page that shows only their fields. Nothing to install, and no account to create.

Every Envelope keeps a timestamped history of who created, sent, viewed, signed, completed or voided it, and which recipient each event relates to.

When the last signature lands, every signature and field value is permanently flattened into the PDF. The finished file displays correctly anywhere, and its values cannot be separated from the page.

Share links carry their own controls. Cap the number of uses, set an expiry by days or on a fixed date, and protect them with a password you set or generate.

Good to know.

The questions providers ask us about Maica Envelopes.

Do recipients need a Maica account?

+

No. Each recipient gets a private link to their own signing page, with nothing to install or sign up for.

Can people sign on a phone?

+

Yes. The signing page is built for phones first, and signatures, initials and drawings are captured by fingertip.

What happens to the signed document?

+

Signatures and field values are flattened into the PDF, and the completed file is emailed to the sender and every recipient, including those who only receive a copy.

Can I control who signs first?

+

Yes. Every recipient has a place in the signing order, and Maica only invites the next person once the one before them has finished.

What if someone hasn't signed yet?

+

The Envelope stays In Progress and shows exactly who it is waiting on, with a timestamped history of who has viewed and signed. Reminders can be sent through the Maica API.

Do we need Salesforce or Maica Docs to use it?

+

No. Maica Envelopes works on its own. All you need is a PDF, however it came to you.

What kinds of documents can be signed?

+

Most everyday agreements and forms, including Service Agreements, consent and authority forms, policies and acknowledgements. If it is a PDF, it can be sent as an Envelope.

What file types are supported?

+

PDF. However a document was created, save or export it as a PDF and it is ready to send.
